MAWATLE COMMERCIAL DIVING INSTITUTE
MAWATLE Commercial Diving Institute (Mawatle CDI) is a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) aimed at providing South African youth from various disadvantaged backgrounds with maritime related scarce skills and work place readiness opportunities.
Established in 2017, the NPO is a 100% black owned with Level 1 Broad – Based Black Economic Empowerment (BB-BEE) scoring.
The wealth of experience, technical expertise and industry knowledge of standards and regulations makes the organisation to be exceptional in offering tailored solutions.
Mawatle CDI’s philosophy is to bridge the gap between unemployment and skills shortage by offering innovative, cost effective training whilst matching international standards and trends.
The primary location of this concern is in the Eastern Cape Province where divers will be nurtured and harnessed in order to be ready for the industry.
VISION
Mawatle CDI vision is to produce the best industry ready underwater experts and facilitation of workplace placements or opportunities to further studies and mentorship for previously disadvantaged youth.
